This week I am going back in time! All the way back to the early 1900s!
I’m taking 45, grade 7 students to Fort Steele Heritage Town in British Columbia, Canada. We will live on site and students will be apprenticed to a blacksmith, tinsmith and harnesser. Students will learn about animal husbandry and will sew a gunny sac on an old push pedal Singer. They will strike it rich gold panning and learn how railway is laid.
This is a trip that I have organized and taken over 500 students over the course of the past 8 years. It is one of my most favourite educational trips ever!!!
Because I am going back in time, there will be a pretty good chance that I will not be online. You will have to wait to see all of my Pic-a-Day photos when I return. Have an excellent week!
