I love shooting family reunion sessions! Everyone is excited to see each other again. Cousins play together, while the parents catch up. There is always such an amazing energy that comes with reunion sessions.
This family bunch was together to celebrate the wedding anniversary of their mom and dad. The weekend had been devoted to the family with a dinner at The Ranche Restaurant in Fish Creek on Saturday followed by their photo session at the Calgary Zoo Royal Conservatory.
We arrived at the Conservatory early in the morning to find it all but deserted. This allowed us to spend as much time as we needed capturing the variety of family groupings this bunch wanted. It was bright and beautiful indoors, which was a blessin as you never know what the weather will be like in Alberta.
I feel so privileged to be able to capture this moment in time for this family.
