Today I’d like you to meet some very special people: baby Maxton and his older sister, Claire! Our session was a little last-minute and I know mom had to scramble to get everyone ready, but I am incredibly pleased about the shots I was able to capture!
Prince Maxton arrived July 12th at 1:25 pm and his loving mama was amazed by how much he looked just like his daddy! During our session, I was personally amazed by how alert he was at such a tender age.
Claire is so happy to be a big sister but a little worried about hurting her baby brother. She wanted to give Maxton a kiss, but couldn’t quite bring herself to plant a smooch on his sweet baby cheek. One thing’s for certain – baby Maxton will always have someone looking out for him!
When asked to give advice on preparing for a family session, proud mama had to share, “With a baby and toddler make sure you book lots of time! It’s amazing how hard it is to get everyone to cooperate when you need them to! Just have fun and trust you will get more good shots then you think,”
Claire was a little camera-shy, and Maxton was so enthralled with everything he just didn’t want to fall asleep, so time and patience was of the utmost importance for this session. As you can see from the pictures, these little ones did in the end cooperate and you can see clearly how much this family adores each other.
I look forward to spending time with this family again and watching how this sweet princess and prince grow.
